The Sportsman’s Bass Club of Southwest Louisiana recently awarded two $500 cash scholarships to East Beauregard graduate Bella Brister and Leesville High School graduate Taliyah Norman.   The students were asked to write a brief essay describing how they feel about the great outdoors including their definition of conservation.  Bella will be attending Northwestern State University where she will major in Nursing, while Taliyah will be attending the University of Houston where she will major in Biology.  The Bass Club would like to congratulate both Bella and Taliyah, and wish them the best in continuing their education.
