2/4/10
We held our banquet and hope that everybody had a good time.
We will be holding our first meeting on 2/15 at the civic center 6:30pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
I must say that I've made 5 trips to Toledo Bend in the last 5-6 weeks and finally caught my first bass of the year yesterday. The fish have been hard to catch for me. The water temp is hovering around 49 degrees. It's been quite a few years since the water temps were this cold. I don't think it's going to be much warmer by the time our first tournament rolls around on 2/20.
You may want to forget how you caught them the last couple of years and get out of the box in your approach. For those of you who haven't been to the lake yet, It's tough! Lake level has been a low 168. There is some rain coming and may help improve conditions.
Our first tournament may prove to be a challenge. Good luck and be safe.
Have a great day and remember to thank God for all your many blessings!

P.S. Be sure to check back periodically as I will try to keep you posted. Enjoy our great fisheries and keep them clean so they may continue to be an enjoyable place to spend time and share in fellowship!
